Book Sale & Quilt Show
Welcome to the East Morgan County Library Book Sale & Quilt Show, a delightful event that combines the love of books and the artistry of quilting. Join us for a day filled with literary treasures, beautiful quilts, and fun activities for the whole family. In this article, we will provide you with all the information you need to make the most of this exciting event.
The East Morgan County Library Book Sale & Quilt Show will take place on July 4, 2023. Please note that the main building of the library in Brush will be closed to the public on this day. However, there will be plenty of activities in the library park that are open to everyone.
- 6:00 – 10:00 a.m. – Brush Lions Club Pancake Breakfast
- 7:00 – 11:00 a.m. – 34th Annual Quilt Show
- 10:00 a.m. – Parade
The library will resume its normal hours on Tuesday, July 5, 2023.
Quilt Show Information
The Quilt Show is a highlight of the event, showcasing the incredible talent and craftsmanship of quilters from around Morgan County.
If you are a quilter and would like to showcase your quilts during the Quilt Show, we encourage you to submit your entries. Quilt submissions will be accepted at the library in Brush from June 20 to 25, 2023. Please bring your quilts to the library during this week to participate in the show.
Quilt Show Hours
The Quilt Show will be open for viewing starting on Wednesday, June 29, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additional hours for the quilt show are as follows:
- June 29 to July 2, 2023: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Sunday, July 3, 2023: Closed
- Monday, July 4, 2023: 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- July 5 to 9, 2023: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day
Summer Reading Program
In addition to the Book Sale & Quilt Show, the East Morgan County Library is hosting a Summer Reading Program filled with exciting activities for children and families. Here are some upcoming events:
June 22, 2023 – 3:00 p.m.
- Rotation Station Program
- Brush City Street Department vehicles display
- Petting zoo with bunnies, kittens, donkeys, llamas, etc.
- Leather craft activities
- Possibly a water game
June 29, 2023 – 3:00 p.m.
- Ocean-themed activity at Summer Reading
July 6, 2023 – 3:00 p.m.
- Summer Reading with Meghan Casey
